An aircraft post stands nearby. This is to be converted into a bird watching hide as part of the Berry Head Park project although no work has been done yet. It consists of a rendered brick building approximately 10' X 13' on a slightly larger stone base, which is about 4' high. The 8' X 8' open observation area still retains some of its sloping wooden surround. The 8' X 5' crew room has a concrete roof. There is a small extension on one end, which would have housed a toilet. |
