Location In the corner of a field 130 yards East of St Sennans Church on the A30.
Description SEALED In 2000 all surface features remain intact although rather dilapidated and now incorporated into a Cornish hedge with the gap between the two shafts filled in with soil and rubble with grass and other plants growing from it. There is a leaning disused telegraph pole nearby. The hatch and the ventilation louvres are missing. The original ladder has been removed and replaced with a very rusty (and dangerous) iron ladder leaning against the wall. There is two feet of rubble at the bottom of the shaft and the monitoring room is strewn with rubbish and rubble. Only the detached table remains, the other furniture has been broken up or removed. When visited by Simon Craine in June 2004 the harch had been sealed with a 1" layer of concrete.
