| Description | SEALED All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. The top of the access shaft has been sealed with a 10" slab of concrete, probably fairly recently as the wooden shuttering is still in place. There are modern steps up the mound and a wooden bench seat has been placed on the top between the two shafts. Having closed in 1968 the post was reopened in 1983 following the closure of Polesworth. |
