County Staffordshire
Date opened 1961
Date closed September 1991
Location In the South West corner of an arable field, on the South West side of an un-named minor road at its junction with a bridleway (Willow Bottom Lane).
Description LOCKED One side of the compound fencing, including the gate, survives along the North side of the bridleway. All surface features remain intact with the dark green paint in good condition. Padlocks are unusually fixed to one end of the hatch which is locked. The original locking bar is also in place and locked. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. Since the post inspection in 1999 the post has been open for a period; it has now been relocked by the landowner. The following artefacts were noted table, shelf, cupboard, rack of wooden shelves, WB1401 carrier receiver, speaker and filter unit, battery switching box, papers, crowbar, 2 lights, BPI mount, BT junction boxes and wiring, map, crockery, Elsan chemical toilet and a home made weather vane.
