| Location | On a field boundary 75 yards North of South Scarle Road, close to trig. station. |
| Description | OPEN All surface features remain in place. Both the access shaft and the ventilation shaft are raised on several courses of bricks and the FSM pipe is longer than usual. The ventilation shaft is mostly demolished and the access shaft is damaged with the hatch and ventilation louvres missing. The ladder is also missing so it was not possible to make an internal inspection on this visit. (An ROC style hatch and a ladder of the same length and type have been installed as the emergency access to the Goose Green caves in Nottingham - perhaps they came from this post) |
