| Location | On a mound within a rectangular compound in the middle of an arable field, 80 yards North of Chicheley Hill. |
| Description | LOCKED All surface features remain intact but the top of the access shaft was rebuilt after the hatch was blown off by an anti nuclear protester and a new large hatch (Torlift) fitted. The old hatch lies in the undergrowth nearby with two chemical toilets. Concrete steps lead up the mound. Most of the green paint has gone and the ventilation louvres are lying on the ground. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. There is a small open topped water tank attached to the top of the access shaft with a tap at the bottom connected to the pipe from the sump pump. The hatch is locked but can be opened with a Torlift key or a large screwdriver. Internally much remains including twin bunks, table, shelf, cupboard, metal desk, papers, battery box, battery switching box, map, wellington boots, post log, copper straps along the walls, utensils, two chairs, fire blanket box, light and wiring. The post is damp with a small overflow of water from the sump. |
