Fleggburgh post in the mid 1970's. Note the Orlit was still standing at this time.
Fleggburgh post pereonnel in 1977, and shows the various uniform styles over the years. Six of the team of ten are seen in the photo. The Observer at bottom right is wearing the WWII Battledress, the Observer bottom left wears the 1972 (RAF) home dress. The Leading Observer is in (short) shirt sleeve order, the Chief Observer is wearing the Wooly Pulley Dress, while the flanking Observers are dressed in the 1950-1960s Battledress, which was superceded by the 1972 pattern. Note that the Ensign bears the King's Crown (KG6)
