| Description | OPEN . The post was within a small rectangular compound, some of the fencing including the gate survives. The soil around the post is eroding. All surface features are in place but the ventilation shaft has been partially demolished and is capped with concrete just above ground level. The hatch is damaged and won't close properly and the adjacent ventilation louvres have been removed and the holes filled with concrete. Internally the walls are covered in soot but there is no fire damage to the remaining furniture, table, shelf, cupboard (doors detached), twin bunks and a single bed. There is also a battery box, wiring and a light fitting. |
