| Description | OPEN In very good condition with all surface features intact. The compound is somewhat overgrown but securely locked. It is on the edge of former WW2 Boxted Airfield with an MOD boundary marker nearby. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The hatch is open. Internally the following artefacts remain: table, shelf, cupboard, two chairs, wooden shelf rack, bet, BT junction boxes and wiring, battery switching box, papers and notices, cleaning materials, light, BPI mount, spade, copper earth straps, two mattresses, coax cable for radio, baffle plates for GZI and the post log. |
