| Description | LOCKED A single disused telegraph pole stands in the trees nearby. All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the dark green paint The hatch is locked but can be opened with a 'T' bar key. Internally there is evidence of recent habitation with rubbish strewn over the floor. The twin bunks remain in place along with the table, cupboard, wiring, lights, pots and pans, utensils and two ROC magazines. Much of the surrounding land including the road has been flooded since the post closed to form Bakethin Reservoir, a Western extension to Kielder Water. |
