|Location||On a low mound within a rectangular compound in the middle of a pastoral field, 120 yards North of B5288 and 300 yards ENE from St. Andrews Church.|
|Description||OPEN All surface features are intact but the louvres are missing. The concrete step up to the shaft is pulling away and the concrete apron round the shaft is breaking up. The hatch is open. Internally, all that remains is a bed frame, one saucepan, two dustpan brushes, some wiring, tiles on the walls and the post battery.|
|A brick built aircraft observation building stands to the West. (NY4469130966) It is a rectangular building, 8’ X 12’ with an entrance in the East wall into an 8’ & 8’ open roofed room. The instrument mounting is still in place consisting of a square concrete plinth with a 4’ high concrete pillar in the centre. The crew quarters are to the South down a step into an 8’ X 4’ room with a sloping roof.
