| Description | OPEN All surface features remain intact with some green paint remaining but the ventilation louvres have gone. The step is detached and the hatch is open. Internally twin bunks and a single bed, instrument table and cupboard remain in place but the shelf is detached. Other items include 1 ventilation louvre, siren box, GPO connection boxes, wiring, 13 amp socket for battery, BPI mount (detached) and the large splint. There is some graffiti and smoke & fire damage to the walls with burnt remains of two mattresses on the bed. |
| Remaining Surface Structures |
A brick aircraft post on brick stilts stands alongside. It is approximately 8' X 5' with a 5' X 5' open section with much of the walls missing, this leads into a 3' X 5' crew room with a corrugated metal roof. It has two wooden bench seats. There is a little wiring still in place. The wooden steps up to the open doorway into the observation room are lying in the grass. |
