Location In a small rectangular compound on the south side of a farm access road.
Description LOCKED Having closed in 1968 the post was re-opened in the 1980’s to replace the Lurgan post which was abandoned for security reasons. All surface features remain intact with the green paint in good condition. A dome on the ventilation shaft and a free standing aerial mast bracket indicates this was a master post. There are three steps up to the access shaft. The hatch is locked internally but can be opened with a ‘T’ bar key. Internally the monitoring room has been completely re-lined with breeze blocks and plastered. There is now a step up into the room from the bottom of the ladder. Internally the post is in good condition with the following artifacts remaining: table, shelf, cupboard, WB1401 carrier receiver with WB1410 filter unit, BT junction box and wiring, BPI mount (detached), two lights, coax aerial cable, some papers, dome key, small splint, waste bin, fuse box and a replacement sump pump.

Restored in 2010 and now periodically open to the public.
