| Location | On a mound within a rectangular compound on a highpoint at the junction of two public footpaths, 200 yards East of an un-named minor road first along overgrown farm track, then along footpath. |
| Description | LOCKED There are two concrete steps up the mound which is beginning to erode at one end leaving the ventilation shaft standing on 4 courses of bricks. All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the blue paint. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft and one guying point on a concrete block indicate this was a master post. There are three bolts protruding from the ventilation shaft, a mounting for something. The hatch is locked but can be opened with a 'T' bar key. Internally much remains including the table, shelf, cupboard, twin bunks, three mattresses, siren box, battery box, small splint, T-pot, papers, BT connection boxes and wiring, long shelf, radio shelf, fire blanket box, waste bin, a small 'kitchen' cabinet and some papers. The post is strewn with rubbish. |
