| Location | In a square compound on high point, 100 yards South of Station Road. |
| Description | LOCKED All surface features remain intact with the green paint flaking badly. There is a strange addition to the GZI mounting consisting of a 2' long tube with a rotating 3' tube slotted into it. On top of this is a metal grid, 10" X 4" made up of 2" X 2" squares. It has been suggested that muslin would have been pulled over the grid to collect fall out from the nearby Trawsfynydd Nuclear Power Station (presumably after the ROC post closed). The top of the access shaft was rebuilt in 1989 and a new larger hatch (Torlift) fitted. The hatch is locked with its security plug in place. It can be opened with a Torlift key. Internally the table and shelf are in place (both covered in sticky backed plastic) together with the cupboard, battery box, light, mirror, BT connection boxes and wiring, rack of dexion shelving, waste bin, dustpan, fire blanket box and cleaning materials. |
