Description LOCKED All surface features remain intact with the green paint flaking. The hatch is locked and badly rusted. A metal dome on the ventilation shaft, a concrete panel on the ventilation shaft for fixing a mast bracket and three guying points within the compound indicates this was a master post. 30.6.2005 The post has been leased by Frank Alexander who has restored the Skelmorlie post in Ayrshire. It was opened for the first time in June 2005. Among the artifacts still in place there was a table, shelf cupboard, WB1401 speech receiver and speaker (detached) and a Tele-Talk. It is intended to restore the post to its original condition as a ROCMET post with an open day some time in 2006. The post has been repainted externally.
