| Location | In the middle of an arable field beside radio aerial and trig. station, 400 yards south of un-named minor road and 400 yards SE of Habchester Fort (ancient monument). |
| Description | LOCKED The post is used to house radio equipment. All surface features remain intact with the green paint flaking badly and the hatch is locked. When visited in 1998 a 30' radio mast stood alongside. This has now (6.4.2002) been removed and there is a shorter mast coming up through the FSM pipe. BPI pipe now has an additional U-shaped piece added to it. There has been some undermining of the concrete apron and subsequent soil erosion. A large length of co-ax cable protruded from the ventilation shaft and is coiled round it. There is some minor damage to the rear of the ventilation shaft. |
