Description LOCKED All Surface features are intact. The top of the access shaft is badly weathered and breaking up with the blue/green paint flaking badly. The hatch is rusting badly but is still locked. A metal dome and aerial bracket on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. There is some damage to the top of the ventilation shaft. At some time the top of the access shaft has been rebuilt and raised with two courses of bricks which were rendered to match the concrete shaft. On one side the rendering has fallen off and the bricks are badly weathered. A Jerry can lies on the ground nearby. Since the post inspection in 2002 the ventilation shaft, BPI pipe and FSM pipe have all been demolished with now evidence of their site remaining. The man access shaft survives but is deteriorating badly, the hatch is still locked.(October 2006)
