Natural cave reputedly once used as as a chapel or hermitage, accessed via an inclined 60 metre tunnel from a Camera Obscura tower. There are self guided visits to the cave that is in the cliff face overlooking the Avon Gorge.

St Vincentís Cave is also known as the Giantís Cave and is 250 feet above the valley floor. The underground passage to St Vincentís cave was cut out by William West. Originally the only access was via the cliff face. The cave is said to have been connected with the ancient chapel of St Vincent, as some pieces of carved masonry were discovered in the cave. This chapel is presumed to have broken away from the cliff and disappeared into the gorge beneath.
Well worth a visit, terrific views over Bristol and a birds eye view of Brunelís Suspension bridge below.
