In a square compound 50 yards west of Tomnaverie Stone Circle (ancient monument), 150 yards south of B9094
LOCKED All surface features remain intact with the green paint flaking. A dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post; the two louvres on the shaft have slipped down. On the other ventilation shaft the louvres are missing. The padlock hasps have been cut but the hatch is locked internally. It can be opened with a Scottish ‘T’ bar key. Internally much remains including folding table, shelf, cupboard, two original folding wood/canvas chairs, long bench seat, BPI mount, BT junction box/wiring, various papers, ROC magazine, low table, fire blanket in its box, mirror, candle holder, two dome keys, small splint, net, crowbar, saucepan and a kettle. The coax cable for the radio is lying on the surface.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
