On Duncton Down east of A285. On a low mound but heavily overgrown on the edge of a field 100 yards south of public footpath.
OPEN All surface features remain intact with the ventilation louvres still in place. The hatch had been fitted with a Scottish internal lock which has been cut out with oxyacetylene leaving a gaping circular hole. The locking mechanism lies in the monitoring room below. The hatch is open. Internally the cupboard, table, shelf, light switch, wiring and battery cable remain. The post is clean. A post inspection in August 2007 revealed little change although the site is now heavily overgrown.
Opened in 1966 and closed in 1968.
