In a square compound on the West side of a footpath, 120 yards North of Conwath Bank and North of Ancaster Cottages.
LOCKED All surface features remain intact on top of a mound with concrete steps up one side. The light green paint is flaking. The compound fencing is of wood with a narrow break for access (never a gate). Cardinal compass points are painted on the fence on each side of the compound.
An aircraft post consisting of a concrete plinth surrounded by light green painted railings stands in the NE corner of the compound.
Opened in 1963 and closed in 1991.
