On a low mound in a rectangular compound on 15 yards north of an un-named minor road. A small gated footbridge across the roadside ditch gives access to the post.
WELDED All surface features remain intact although most of the green paint has now gone. The hatch is welded and there is some damage to the top of the shaft. The louvres on the adjacent ventilation shaft are missing. A dome and aerial bracket on the main ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. Some of the metal is painted orange.
The aircraft post survives at NM 92213 48000
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
