Located within the bounds of Chapple cross nuclear power station, on the east of the site on raised ground.
The bunker is in fair condition, the main entrance has been opended and most of the waterr pumped out, the bunker features almost all of its fittings, the emergency ladder is still in place along with the hatch cover, most of the comms equipment is also intact, the bunker features an extra room under the observation room, this apears to have been a battery room, evedence of this is still insitu. Each room has its light fittings and switches, the main door is laying to one side but still has it’s iron work intact. The bunker also features a vent pipe to the outside via the roof of the defence officers office, this matches up with pipe work on the surface but does not look to date from 1941, the bunker may have been used for water storage at some point in the past.
