In a small rectangular compound 20 yards west of B3223
LOCKED There is a sign on the compound gate which reads ‘Crown Property Keep Out’ All surface features remain intact with some flaking of the green paint. There is a three-foot extension to the top of the ventilation shaft adjacent top the access shaft with the GZI mounting on top of it. A dome and aerial bracket on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The top of the access shaft has been rebuilt (1989) and a new larger hatch (Torlift) fitted. The hatch is locked and cannot be opened
There is a wooden hut within the compound put there by the amateur radio club, this had no connection with the ROC.
Opened in 1961 and closed in 1991.
