In a long rectangular compound on a field boundary, 150 yards East of Upton Lodge Farm and 200 yards West of Weedon Road (A45). At the end of a line of telegraph poles.
LOCKED All surface features remain intact but set low in the ground and in rather poor condition considering the recent closure. The FSM pipe is bent over and the hatch is securely locked with four padlocks. The is a faded sign on the compound gate. The post battery is in the bushes nearby.
An Orlit A in reasonable condition stands in the bushes at the Western end of the compound. A brick structure in a separate overgrown compound alongside the Orlit is probably an old water tank.
Opened in 1962 and closed in 1991.
