In a compound at the end of a line of telegraph poles a little South of covered reservoir and trig. station. 150 yards South of un-named minor road.
LOCKED Telegraph poles still carry the original twin wires. All surface features are intact with grey/green paint in good condition. The metal dome on the ventilation shaft indicates this was a master post. The access shaft is particularly tall with some damage to the top. The hatch is locked.
Opened in 1960 and closed in 1991.
