Notes: The station was opened as Monmouth Troy House but shown in timetables as Monmouth Troy from 1904. After laying derelict for many years the station building was bought by the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway. It was demolished brick by brick and has been reassembled at Winchcombe station.

The funeral of Charles Rolls (of Rolls Royce) at Monmouth Troy Station in 1910 (Rolls met his end in July 1910 when his French-built Wright biplane broke up in mid-air. Although he was only 20 ft up in the air, he broke his skull in the fall and became Britain's first aircraft fatality.)
