Notes: Canada Dock Station was situated on the LNWR Canada Dock Branch which ran from Edge Hill through the northern suburbs of Liverpool to the Docks. The line opened to Canada Dock in 1866 for goods traffic and as far as Tue Brook for passenger services. In 1870 a passenger service was extended along the line to a single platformed terminus at Canada Dock but it was called Bootle. The station was renamed Canada Dock on 5.9.1881.

The station served dock workers well for many years but in May 1941 the site was severely damaged in an enemy air raid. The passenger station never re-opened. The Goods yard did re-open and it remained in use until 1982. remarkably the station platform and building survived intact until the 1990's.

Today the site has been filled in and only some different coloured brickwork in a wall shows the location of the booking office'The station was opened as Bootle being renamed Canada Dock on 5.9.1881.
