09:30 - 10:00Registration and refreshments.
10:00 - 10:25Welcome, followed by Annual General Meeting.
10:25 - 11:25Underground Kent. Rod LeGear of the Kent Underground Research Group describes the many types of underground site in the county including deneholes, chalk mines, stone mines, sand mines, and a plethora of wartime shelters.
11:25 - 11:35Comfort Break. Please note that refreshments are not available during this break.
11:35 - 12:35The Old London Underground Company. Ajit Chambers, the Company's founder, describes his vision for reusing redundant tube stations and other spaces under the city.
12:35 - 14:00Lunch may be obtained locally at reasonable cost in nearby cafes and pubs.
14:00 - 15:00ROC Below and Above Ground. Mark Dalton, author of the recent "ROC Underground Observation Posts", and John Shere, a former Corps member, on the Royal Observer Corps
15:00 - 15:30Afternoon break with refreshments.
15:30 - 17:00Crossrail and its predecessors. Charles Devereux, Head of Railway Operations at Crossrail, sets the new system in the context of Yerkes and the Edwardian pioneers.
17:00 - 17:30Members' contributions. Members are invited to give a short presentation on their recent discoveries or activities. Video and computer projection facilities will be available.

The day will start at 09:30. Cost is £18 if booked in advance or £20 on the day. Attendance at the AGM solely is free of charge.

Every effort will be made to adhere to the programme shown but last-minute changes may occur.
