The bunker is in good condition and is dry inside. The main entrance is open. The emergency hatch is missing but the emergency steps are still inplace although the bottom section is rusted. The roof of the battle headquarters is constructed from reinforced concrete sections. The bunker has a number of original and unique features. The wooden door frames still exist and still retain their RAF green paint. There are a number of rusted electrical points and cable runs. The bunker also features an extra space, which is located underneath the main entrance steps and accessed by a small entrance, the purporse of this extra space is at this time unknown. The battle headquarters features an air vent in the PBX room (with hit and miss style cover-which still functions) the exit of which can still be found on the surface.
